About Alan

Alan qualified as a Quantity Surveyor at the University of Abertay Dundee in Scotland in 2001.

Alan's experiences include working for Tier One and Two main contractors and private real estate owner/developers in New Zealand.

Alan has lived and worked in New Zealand for over eight years and brings a wide range of experience ranging from one of the largest single client projects in Scotland, providing consultant cost services in California and the USA, and from working on iconic projects in and around Wellington.

As a qualified Quantity Surveyor, Alan brings a wide range of experience in various stages of the construction process.

Alan's experience covers a variety of projects from large commercial projects to minor works covering many projects from conceptual design to final accounts. Alan also has experience in Development Management, Construction Management and Project Management.

Estimating, tendering, management and delivery covering many projects from conceptual design to final accounts. Review of variations, procurement, value engineering, cost planning, tender analysis and contract management.

Alan has worked on warehouses, retirement villages, office developments, sports complexes, schools, residential subdivisions, apartment complexes.
